National Safe Motherhood Day.

National Safe Motherhood Day is celebrated on April 11 each year. In 2003, the Government of India declared April 11, the birth anniversary of Kasturba Gandhi as National Safe Motherhood Day. The declaration is an initiative of White Ribbon Alliance India (WRAI), an alliance of 1800 organizations.

This day is observed annually to create awareness of adequate access to care during pregnancy, childbirth, and postnatal services. Share these quotes to spread awareness about motherhood.
Women have a god gift to give birth to a child. In itself it is a miracle. In our country there are women who died while giving birth and also don't get nutrition, proper care during the course of pregnancy and after that also. National Safe Motherhood Day (NSMD) is celebrated to aware people about healthcare facilities for women. Let us study further about NSMD.
National Safe Motherhood Day (NSMD) is observed annually on 11 April to raise awareness about the proper healthcare of women and maternity facilities to pregnant and lactating women. This day also focus on reducing anaemia among women, institutional delivery, for better pre and post natal health care etc. which are necessary for mothers.

World Religion Day.

  World Religion Day.

The aim of World Religion Day, held on the third Sunday in January every year, is to promote inter-faith understanding and harmony. Our World has hundreds of nations with thousands of cultures that stretch back into pre-history, and throughout all that time we’ve had countless religions rise to prominence. Whether you’re Hindu, Jewish, Catholic, Shinto, Buddhist, or one of a million other faiths, World Religion Day is your chance to share your culture with others and take an opportunity to learn from others about theirs.
Religion Day is not about conversion, it’s about learning about the religions that shape the world around you, maybe do a little research into your favorite culture to learn a bit about its foundational religions. Whether you’re learning about the Hindu faith with its thousands of Gods, or precisely how the thousands of denominations of Christianity grew out of the Judaic faith thousands of years ago, Religion Day is your opportunity to broaden your horizons.
Obviously, this includes taking this opportunity to speak to others about your religion, but remember as you do so that Religion Day is not about conversion. Speak to another with an open heart and open mind, and share what your religion has to say, and then take the time to listen to them talk about theirs from a place of understanding and love.

Mental Health Awareness

The world is going through an crises which is unimaginable, where people are quarantined at home, some are self isolating, and all of us are uncertain of the future.
It is therefore paramount important that we encourage mental health awareness all year, every year.

During this difficult times as such, it is natural to feel blue and lot of us are struggling with anxiety ,Depression and restlessness.
It is important to hold on a little bit and also hold a positive outlook and utilize this time to check up on our loved ones, check up on each other, raise each other up. Also make best efforts to be present for the people we care and love.
But most importantly to be there for yourself. So let's just slow down for a bit, rejuvenate, breathe, and let's be kind and gentle to ourselves and others.
Remember, no skill will ever be worth more than your peace of mind.Indulge yourself in whatever truly gives you joy. Also, talk. Talk your hearts out.Remember, we are all in this together.Sometimes, it's okay not to be okay. But let's hope for a healthier, happier world for us all. Better days will surely come And yes, time will heal everything.
Join Our Volunteer Program To Get Rid Of Depression ,Anxiety & Restlessness.

FATHER'S DAY !

Always a son's first hero, a daughter's first love and charm, none other other than their fathers, their DAD.
And in what better day to remind them of your love ?

Every year 3rd Sunday of June is celebrated as FATHER'S DAY .
Father's Day is a day of honoring fatherhood and paternal bonds, as well as the influence of fathers in society.
It is celebrated in almost 111 countries and represents not only fathers but also the fatherly figures in our lives.

"My father gave me the greatest gift anyone could give another person, he believed in me."

- Jim Valvano

Your mother teach us to love but also your father teach you many life lessons even though it remains unheard of.

We may not get to hold our father's hand but we had their hand on our back as appreciation and support. Love and care.

This year , on Father's Day , may be you won't be able to take your fathers to their favourite restaurants.
But you can surprise them with your own cooking, making them a card as a token of love and say the things you've always wanted to express and hug them.

Talk to your father wholeheartedly ,tell them how much you love them , how much you care for them, how much you respect them.

Happy Father's Day to all the heroes.

-Pooja Sarkar

INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY #EachForEqual 2020 An Article By Tvisha

INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY
#EachForEqual 2020

International Women’s Day (8 March) is a global day celebrating the social, political, economic and cultural achievements of women. The day also marks a call to action for working towards women’s equality. Imagining life without women is quite hard-hitting. The fact remains that all the great people of the world are born from the womb of a woman and it is a woman from whom those great people have taken their initial teachings. And that is the reason we have always emphasized upon giving the due respect to women in their life. And that is why women’s day is celebrated with so much of zeal and it has spread throughout the world.

This year’s campaign, #EachForEqual, draws attention to the difference individuals can make.
Celebrating women is a way of feeling gratitude to each and every woman in one’s life, be it in the professional or the personal life. International Women’s day is observed every year on 8th of March and it is observed around the world to celebrate the velour of women. Women from various cultural and ethnic groups come together crossing all the boundaries to remember their struggle of many decades for peace, justice, equality and development. The day allows women to raise their voice for equal opportunities in whatever field they wish to participate in;  the same men are provided with. Women like Mary Kom, Saina Nehwal and Malala Yusufzai have achieved so much in life despite facing struggles and inspire us through their journey to do better in life.
International women’s Day is all about feeling women realize their worth and giving them boost to achieve as per their actual potential. On this day the world unites to appreciate their courage to cross all the hurdles and make such tremendous improvement in all most all the spheres of life. Besides that, the most important thing to be given emphasis is the work that still needs to be done to fill that gap completely that has existed from ages.

So let us come together and celebrate the spirit of being a woman and thank the women in our life through little gestures of care. Women have contributed so much to society through their achievements in different fields. It is time for us now to appreciate their efforts by doing our bit. It is time for us now to work actively towards issues like gender equality, equal work- equal pay and women safety so that all women feel safe and valued not just on one particular day, but every day.

KUMBH - The Largest Peaceful Congregation Of Humanity!

KUMBH - The Largest Peaceful Congregation Of Humanity!
Join Our Volunteer Tourism Program  & Get an Amazing Experience Of The Event !

Kumbh is a symbol of peace and harmony amongst all human beings. The Kumbh Mela has been inscribed on the list of “Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity” by UNESCO in 2017. This reflects the significance of Kumbh worldwide. Kumbh at Prayagraj encapsulates the science of astronomy, astrology, spirituality, ritualistic traditions, social and cultural customs and practices making it extremely rich in knowledge.
Kumbh also signifies the coming together of people from various cultures from all across the world and participating in the spectacle that is the largest peaceful congregation of humanity. Participating in the ritual of the holy bath at the Ghats is an honor and a privilege.

UP Government has envisioned Divya and Bhavya Kumbh scheduled from January 15 to March 31, 2019. We have resolved to provide an unforgettable pilgrimage experience to crores of devotees visiting Kumbh. Blending the grand traditions of Kumbh with the deployment of modern techniques and solutions so that the kalpavasis, spiritual gurus, dignitaries, foreign visitors and the pilgrims have a life emancipating experience during their visit to Prayagraj .  “Discover Kumbh,Discover India,Discover Yourself”
Kumbh Mela, in Hinduism, is a religious pilgrimage that is celebrated four times over a course of 12 years. The geographical location of Kumbh Mela spans over four locations in India and the Mela site keeps rotating between one of the four pilgrimages on four sacred rivers as listed below:
Haridwar on the Ganges in Uttarakhand
Ujjain on the Shipra in Madhya Pradesh
Nashik on the Godavari in Maharashtra
Prayagraj at the confluence of the Ganges, the Yamuna, and the mythical Sarasvati in Uttar Pradesh
Each site’s celebration is based on a distinct set of astrological positions of the Sun, the Moon, and the Jupiter. The celebrations occur at the exact moment when these positions are fully occupied, as it is considered to be the holiest time in Hinduism. The Kumbh Mela is an event that intrinsically encapsulates the science of astronomy, astrology, spirituality, ritualistic traditions, and socio-cultural customs and practices, making it extremely rich in knowledge.
Pilgrims to the Kumbh Mela come from all sections of the religion ranging from Sadhus (saints) and Naga Sadhus who practice ‘sadhana’ and keenly follow a strict path of spiritual discipline, to Hermits who leave their seclusion and come to visit the civilization only during the Kumbh Mela, to seekers of spirituality, and to common people practicing Hinduism.
During the Kumbh Mela, a number of ceremonies take place; the traditional procession of Akharas called ‘Peshwai’ on elephant backs, horses and chariots, the shining swords and rituals of Naga Sadhus during ‘Shahi Snaan’, and many other cultural activities that attract millions of pilgrims to attend the Kumbh Mela.
