How our Cloth Donation Drive Works!

How our Cloth Donation Drive Works!

Education is dependent on multiple factors – the availability of stationery items being one of them. The educational system in our side of the world is inclined to promote technology and digitization. But you can’t deny the fact that the pencil remains to be a powerful tool. Like books, it is the first step to embark on an educational journey. Is it not? And yet, many children from marginalized and vulnerable communities try to get an education but don’t have access to basic school supplies. Due to social, economical problems they are unable to access to the required stationary. What can a pencil do for all of us? Amazing things. It can write transcendent poetry, uplifting music, or life-changing equations; it can sketch the future, give life to untold beauty, and communicate the full-force of our love and aspirations.

We at HEEALS  will Give Clothes To Needy One And Sell Old Clothes And the Money Gain

ed in return will go to the Stationary Donation Drive organized for children from marginalized & Vulnerable communities in National Capital Region, Delhi, Gurgaon and Uttar Pradesh Schools .
This  Stationary drive is open all round the year to reach many children . Stationary item set cost Rs. 10 which include one pencil, ruler, eraser and pen which can be earned by selling old clothes only. Isn’t it wonderful how much of a difference we all can make in somebody’s lives by a simple act of generosity. Become a helping hand in Children Education. Not everybody gets an opportunity to give. You have the privilege to do so.

On World Water Day ! YOU CAN BE A HUMMINGBIRD !

On World Water Day ! YOU CAN BE A HUMMINGBIRD !

Be The Change You Want To See In This World !
THERE IS AN ANCIENT STORY* OF A HUMMINGBIRD AND IT IS ABOUT HOW WE REACT TO A CRISIS. RIGHT NOW, WE FACE A WATER AND SANITATION CRISIS. DO WE STAND AND STARE? OR, DO WE ACT?

‘One day in the forest, a fire broke out.
All the animals ran for their lives.
They stood at the edge of the blaze, looking at the flames in terror and sadness.
Up above their heads, a hummingbird was flying back and forth to the fire, over and over again.
The bigger animals asked the hummingbird what she was doing.
“I am flying to the lake to get water to help put out the fire.”
The animals laughed at her and said, “You can’t put out this fire!”
The hummingbird replied, “I’m doing what I can.”’
THE HUMMINGBIRD IS HELPING SOLVE THE PROBLEM, ONE DROP AT A TIME.
SHE IS BEING THE CHANGE SHE WANTS TO SEE IN THE WORLD.
YOU CAN BE A HUMMINGBIRD, TOO.
THE ACTIONS YOU TAKE, NO MATTER HOW SMALL, WILL HELP SOLVE THE WATER CRISIS

World Water Day -2023!

World Water Day is about accelerating change to solve the water and sanitation crisis. Dysfunction throughout the water cycle undermines progress on all major global issues, from health to hunger, gender equality to jobs, education to industry, and disasters to peace. In 2015, the world committed to Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 6
as part of the 2030 Agenda – the promise that everyone would have safely managed water and sanitation by 2030. Right now, we are seriously off-track. Billions of people and countless schools, businesses, healthcare centers, farms, and factories are being held back because their human rights to water and sanitation still need to be fulfilled. There is an urgent need to accelerate change – to go beyond ‘business as usual.’ The latest data show that governments must work on average four times faster to meet SDG 6 on time, but this is not a situation that any single actor or group can solve.

Water affects everyone, so we need everyone to take action.

Did you know?

1.4 million people die annually and 74 million will have their lives shortened by diseases related to poor water, sanitation and hygiene. (WHO 2022)

Today, 1 in 4 people – 2 billion people worldwide – lack safe drinking water. (WHO/UNICEF 2021)

Almost half of the global population – 3.6 billion people – lack safe sanitation. (WHO/UNICEF 2021)

Globally, 44 per cent of household wastewater is not safely treated. (UN-Water 2021)

Global water demand (in water withdrawals) is projected to increase by 55 per cent by 2050. (OECD 2012)
